From the very early days of The Outward Bound Trust to the present, our courses have been helping young people realise their potential by developing the characteristics and attitudes to attain their aims. Through the Generations Fund, it is our goal to enable many more financially disadvantaged young people the opportunity to experience Outward Bound.

Without your support, these young people will not be able to afford this life-changing experience. We invite you to support future generations.

Generations Fund

Over the past 40 years research has shown how the benefits of Outward Bound experiences are not only comparable with the most effective educational intervention, but these benefits increase over time.

That’s why we aim to make the experience available to young people who would not ordinarily be able to take part. For 2010 we’ve set ourselves the ambitious target of funding 14,000 new young people through the Generations Fund. That’s 14,000 extra individuals who will be given the remarkable opportunity to experience personal growth and reach their potential through adventure.
